Aspen View Builds For Habitat For Humanityedit
May 19, 2016: Aspen View Homes, a builder of new homes in Colorado Springs, has teamed up with Habitat for Humanity and our trade partners to build a 1008 finished square foot ranch style home for one very special Pikes Peak Region family.
The construction, as part of Habitat for Humanity’s annual Builder Blitz, will take place June 6 through June 10. “We are so honored to have been chosen to participate in this year’s Builder Blitz,” said Preston Zanella, Purchasing Manager for Aspen View Homes. “As a company we believe that creating a better place to call home is about giving back to the community. This is our chance to say thank you and to show we care,” he continued.
Habitat’s Home Builders Blitz creates the opportunity for professional home builders and suppliers across the country to partner with their local Habitat for Humanity affiliates to build, repair, or rehab as many homes as they can over the course of a week. The Colorado Springs project, located at 843 Bunting, Fountain, CO, has been entirely donated by Aspen View Homes and Aspen View Homes trade partners.
Open to the media and the general public, this year’s events include:
June 5: Ground Blessing at 2 p.m.
June 6 – June 10: Home construction
June 12: Home Dedication Party at noon
Home Dedication at 2 p.m.
